Yet their mission soon uncovers a conspiracy that could, in the words of the official synopsis, “return our entire planet to a perilous order not seen since prehistoric times.” We know that the indoraptor, like the Indominus Rex before it, is not a “natural” dinosaur (as natural as you can be when you’re genetically coaxed back to life many millennia after your extinction), but another modified super-predator that will wreck havoc on Owen and Claire’s lives, and everybody else’s in the film.Ĭheck out the new spot below. The storyline revolves around a dormant volcano roaring to life and threatening the dinosaurs of Isla Nublar, forcing Owen (Pratt) and Claire (Bryce Dallas Howard) to mount a campaign to rescue them. Fallen Kingdom takes that premise and invests it with what looks like Bayona’s marquee talent for horror. Yet it seems like Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom‘s most terrifying new creation is the indoraptor, which star Chris Pratt calls “a psychopathic, murderous beast.” Granted, the real villains of any Jurassic film are the humans, who foolishly try to play god and use the dinosaurs to their own ends, with consistently catastrophic results.
In the new spot, you’ll see the mosasaurus getting in a little late afternoon surfing, which is a pity for the actual surfers sharing the wave with the beast. While the Jurassic franchise has two undisputed kings-the T-Rex and the velociraptor-you may recall that in Jurassic World, it was the mosasaurus which delivered the much needed kill shot to the Indominus Rex, that film’s genetically modified apex predator. PREHISTORIC KINGDOM BARYONYX TV
